Cambodia Travel during and after Covid-19

Cambodia has one of the lowest infection rates and a good recovery rate among Southeast Asian nations infected with Covid-19 till February 2021. On February 10, 2021, the Anti-Covid-19 Vaccine program began.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRY:

To aid in the reduction and containment of COVID-19 transmission and in accordance with ASEAN-wide measures, the Royal Government of Cambodia has decided to suspend the e-visa and visa-on-arrival services until further notice.

All travelers must show a valid Cambodian Embassy or Consulate-General visa.

At the moment, the Cambodian Embassies will accept applications for diplomatic, official, and business visas but will not allow tourist or other visas to enter Cambodia.

You can receive information through the Cambodian Embassy, your airline's website, or the country's official website.

The Cambodian government acknowledged that tourists who have been vaccinated would still be subjected to quarantine in Cambodia.

BEFORE DEPARTURE

Possess a COVID-19 negative medical certificate issued within 72 hours of the arrival date. Accepted documents must be originals in English, stamped and signed.

UPON ARRIVEMENT:

At airports, make a cash or credit card deposit of $2,000 for obligatory COVID-19 testing and possibly treatment services.

Submit to a COVID-19 test and wait for laboratory findings at specified facilities/hotels. If one or more tourists on an incoming vessel/flight tests positive, all passengers must undergo a 14-day quarantine at a Cambodian-designated site. On the 13th day of quarantine, health officials will conduct another COVID-19 test. If all travelers test negative, health officials will order them to self-isolate at their home or hotel for 14 days.
